Solving the problem of test |
EADS North America Defense Test & Services has become
a leader in the provision of Automatic Test Systems
by taking on board the whole cycle of test, from definition
of a test solution, through manufacture of test instruments,
to production, supply and support of configured test
systems and application software.
Our customers involve us during the initial design phase
of a test subject in order to ensure that an optimum
test solution is possible. Racal Instruments has the
resources to analyze the requirements and propose an
optimum test solution using our state of the art software
tools to design our systems.
EADS North America Defense Test & Services selects
products not only from the Racal Instruments and Talon
Instruments product range but also from a definitive
list of products from other reputable manufacturers
of test and measurement products. The end result is
a test solution which is best suited to the application,
be it a Special-to-Type solution, an Open Architecture
System or a mixture of the two.
Open
Architecture Systems
Historically, the marketplace has been burdened with
the problem of being locked into specific vendors
of test equipment. In many cases this still represents
a problem in the marketplace today. EADS
North America Defense Test & Services,
however, offers a solution to a test problem which
is not dependant on specific hardware or software,
and is a truly open architecture design. This is the
result of a considerable investment in an advanced
approach to test system design.

Special-to-Type
Design
EADS North America Defense Test & Services
is capable of producing electrical, electronic
or software solutions for Special-to-Type test
problems. The knowledge base of the design team
extends from DC to light, and covers a wide range
of software languages including C, C++, Pascal,
Basic, SABRE, REBATE, ATLAS, ADA and more. A
Special to Type Design may be incorporated in
to an ATE as a separate chassis containing all
the special functions, or in the case of our DIANA
and GPTIRF mobile test facilities, the ATE's themselves
were designed to meet special requirements for
a range of test subjects. |
