Special-to-Type Design EADS North America Defense Test & Services is capable of producing electrical, electronic or software solutions for Special-to-Type test problems. The knowledge base of the design team extends from DC to light, and covers a wide range of software languages including C, C++, Pascal, Basic, SABRE, REBATE, ATLAS, ADA and more. A Special to Type Design may be incorporated in to an ATE as a separate chassis containing all the special functions, or in the case of our DIANA and GPTIRF mobile test facilities, the ATE's themselves were designed to meet special requirements for a range of test subjects.
